if you guys are after something that is low then i dont think tein SS is for you. I have taken out the helper springs on my ones and for the rears it is sitting on top of the tyre. Pretty much it is the lowest setting possible. Fronts whoever are crazy, without helper springs the car is pretty scrubbing the inner guards.

If you want something low and comfy at an affordable price then i suggest D2 racing coilovers. They come with standard pillowmounts and have both height and damper adjustments, very good value for money imo.

Im keen to get a set of coilovers in the future but just unsure of what to get or what to pay..
does anyone know who is a certified retailer for coilovers in Brisbane?
What are the best for ride and comfort? Ive been in friends s13's with coilovers and the ride way too harsh... they have to be girlfriend friendly

    tein ss is good.

Stay away from brands like cusco, GAB, stay away from the tein HA, RA, HR Flex series...they can be pretty stiff...its kinda hard to find super gf friendly coilovers...unless ure girlfriend is like suki from 2f2f.

my cusco's in my dc2r let me lower the car enough so it chassis rails are 1" off the ground with 15" rims, or to put it another way the tyre is sitting on the inner wheel arch and you can't physically lower it any more, i tryed to out one weekend just to see what it would look like
