    Civic coff?

im just wondering ive got a breeze 92 civic and lately some times when i turn the car off, it makes like a coff action with the engine still running. What the hell is going on?

perhaps unburnt fuel is being sucked thru the carb into the engine and igniting due to heated up carbon deposits in the head...after the engine is technically turned off.

    Is that a Carby model?

Pre-ignition. Even though the ignition is turned "off" the fuel is being ignited by hot spots, carbon, excessive heat, etc and causing "run on"

its called run-on and its because of carbon buildup auto-igniting fuel.
