Also if you arent getting enough temp in your rear tyres, try putting a bit more air in.
Have you tried a slightly thicker front swaybar aswell?

    Adjustable swaybars ftw!

Air temp was about 10 and the track was cold the whole day. 4 laps each session. Rear tyres werent even hardly warm. It was terrible. During the day I softened the rear shocks and stiffen up the front for less oversteer. did help a bit! then later droped PSI in rear tyres which also helped. The car was fully stripped ill show pics soon. Nuffin in the rear boot and only 1 Recaro in the front. Not enough weight on rear tyres would of also contributed. The car handled better with stock rear 19mm Sway bar. The setup on Sandown was way to twichy. SCARY as hell braking from 200km/h down the back and front straight.

40psi cold on RE55s? I'd say thats a bit too high. I usually try and get mine to about 35psi hot.

and yes. the the end of the back straight at sandown is scarey as hell

I had 32 cold at Winton and it was great. But the bad thing was I was getting very bad wear on the outside of the tyres. I got 2-3degrees camber on the rear too. Anyway I didnt have a tyre pressure gauge on the day so I didnt know what pressure I was on or how much to let down. I bought a digital tyre pressure gauge and inflator for my next track day anywayz. Hope I dont have these problems next time around. Hope too see some of you guyz some track day soon. I was the only Honda amongest a crap load of WRX, GT-Rs and Evo's. Buy I was pleased with the speed of the car at the end of the day cos there were a few WRX and GTST that couldnt catch me down the straights .

would you be interested in going to this track day?? http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=92229

1:34 is not too bad, I did 1:36 with stock suspension on my DC2R. WRX days are cool, they have $1 BBQ for lunch. Their track days are always packed though.

True haha. Sausage and bread $1 Can of Coke $1, Hamburger $1. But 4 lap sprints is not enough. We did 7 lap sprints at winton which were longer lap times. Great day that was.

Maybe, ill let you know. Being in winter ill hate it to be cold and possible rainy. Its is a 3hr drive and it could easily turn into a waste of a day.

I'll be going to the HSCCV Winton meet in November for sure. All Hondas. Hope you guyz can come. It should be lots of fun.
