ek1 rear bumper need help.

hey everyone one, well last night someone ran into my car only just scraping off some paint, but my question is, does a ek 99-00 rear bumper fit onto a 96-98 ek? the rear bumper needs to be replaced so i was looking at going to the newer bumper without the black strips.

In my knowledge, 99-00 Hatch bumper can be fitted onto a 96-98 hatch

96-98 hatch rear bumpers are the same as 99-00, but not sedans.

Looks like you've got a 4dr 96-98, so the 99-00 bar won't fit.
