    Had my Civic Dyno'd

I got my 85 civic dynoed today,
It has a D16A3 engine out if a 86 teg in it. The engine has been rebuilt and is completly stock except for a K&N panel filter in the stock box.

It put out 90HP or 67.5Kw atw.

This is pretty much what i was expecting.

    Heres the graph

Today i also picked up some extractors for $100, they need a bit of porting to match the head since their for a different engine but look pretty good. Ill get it dynoed again after to see of they make a differance.

Hey that's pretty good. Looks like you are running very rich up top, if you get a SAFC2 you would have some gains by tuning the AFR. Keeping the AFR at 12.5:1 at the richest will yield some gains for sure. From about 128kph your engine is running too rich, a SAFC2 plus some dyno time with a decent tuner and you could gain maybe ~5kw . . .

    THanks Guys

Nerv: It cost $50 to get in dyno'd at JD Customs in Wetherill Park.

ECU_MAN: It goes pretty good, it should run a low 15s 1/4 mile hopefully, ill find out in the next month or so hopefully.

Racinghonda: I noticed it was runing rich, instrad of a SAFC im probable going to try and get a D16A8 ECU and Distributor and wire all that in because them ECU's can be chipped and tuned and it will also remove the vaccume ingnition advance and replace it with electronic which shoutd also help to make more power.

Add another second... B16 delsol would be lucky to hit that time, and thats with almost double power at wheels

My friend who had the exact same car with the same engine but had a 2" enhaust ran a 15.2 on his and with the stock engine a 16.4. These civics only weigh 800kg remember.

If i can find a helmet by next wednesday hopefully ill give her a run at WSID and see what it can do.
