    DC5R factory headunit

    i need a radio/cd player for my work vehicle and got a DC5R single-din unit cd player, now its got two some sorta of molex looking plug fittings at the back is it possible wiring this head unit to a another non-honda vehicle or is it too much trouble?

    Ofcourse you can, u can take a Toyota radio and install it into a honda. But then again who wants to do that.

    I dont know wat ur mating pins looks like at all but there are some common wires with car steros.

    Ground
    Acc Power 12v
    Battery 12v
    Coxial Antanna wire.

    Now depending if u have a Powered Antanna u'll have a Trigger wire.
    Then there's Also the Illumiation Wire which dimms the head unit at night.(not really nesscery)

    what i need to find out is where on the stock headunit the power and cable wires connect to?

    i got a pic of the back of the head unit but how do i post it?
