    5th gen 99 prelude speedo problem

    for some unknown reason my speedo just stopped workin one day
    and the engine light comes on

    has this happened to anyone before? and how would i fix this problem?

    im not sure if this is the same for the 5th gens, but the 3rd gens speedo runs off this thick black cable that leeds into the engine bay. i think it gets connected to the gearbox. maybe its come off from one side or been damaged.
    Indicating when no one is around is like talking to yourself

    I dunno where the u came from, probably the "U" key on the keyboard but im skeptical

    i had this issue as well...

    check ur VSS sensor... speed sensor... so engine code check... should be a code 17... check the sensor... maybe just need a clean....

    this is a common failure

    your VSS is probably faulty, you will need to replace it to resolve the problem.
