OK, I have an 88 CRX with a ZC and the boost bug has bitten me after being around my mates Turbo TX3 Laser. I'm looking to buy a 2nd hand turbo kit and do the install myself (going to do a compression test etc first). It's going to work out cheaper than doing a B18C conversion aswell.
Just wondering peoples good / bad experiences when turboing Honda engines. And if they have used used their stock ECU etc.
The ZC is in OK condition and has around 150,000 kms on the clock. Regularly serviced (I've only had it for about 30,000 kms though). I'll be planning on running 8psi on stock internals until I have the funds to rebuild it.
Also, what have others done to hide their setup from cops? I was thinking black intercooler, heatsheild over the manifold & plum-back BOV behind the frontbar.
