least they are moving away from the civic being more a mpv-like car, and more towards the start of why we all love em... a step in the right direction i say

I posted this in the Civic forums in response:

    a) It's a 4 door
    b) 155ps = 154 bhp - a BIG step backwards from the late 90s EK9 CTR, a medium step back from the mid 90s EG6 and late 90s EK4 SiRs and is even less power than the EF9 built 15 years ago. It's also heavier than all of those.

The US has the 3 door Si with 160bhp - and it's still not selling. It's not just the motor - the whole Civic line-up looks like shit.

More to the point, Honda Australia wont want to ship it.

I'm sorry - Honda have still ****ed up royally and they can't convince me that this new Civic is part of the SiR legacy.

Contrary to most manufacturers nowadays, Honda has mad a pig's ear out of a silk purse.

I think this has been posted before but I'm in 100% agreeance with Setanta - Honda have f*cked the Civics royaly. Why don't they just go back to what they used to be - the EK's were so good, and EG's etc for that matter. Now... this shit.

bah its seems like it has the k20A3 variant, the shit one.

People say the EP's are ugly and shit. Given the choice between between an ek9 and EP3 I would probably choose the EP3, its a bloody nice car and quick.

I got a review of the EP3 and a little bit of the nsx-r hosted on my webspace I will put the rest up some other time as i only have 20mb of space.

Yeah I've seen that one b4 - I love that guy, he's pretty funny and nice driving when he makes the CTR like hop, skip and jump in the wet. But what he says about the NSX-R is spot on. Who in their right mind would pay that much $$$ for a Honda? You would just get a Porsch or Ferrarri
