    capacitors

i just need some help about installing caps into my car. i've searched up on the net on how to install caps, even the history and invention of caps
i know the basics caps cables shouldnt be longer then 18" so you don't loose power, caps grounds should be mounted to the same place as your amps so you dont have ground loops etc.

but im stuck on how to plan for it.
I've attatched 2 pictures, both are blueprints on how i think the wiring should be runnning, just need to confirm which one of them is right/if any or if there both ok. I'm kind of thinking the picture labelled 1: is the better way to hook it up?

Secondly im installing 2 caps there currently hooked up together, could some one look at it and let me know how'd i hook it into my system.

for eg. the power cable from batt hooks up to the capacitors and then a power and grounds cable leaves the caps etc.

You want them in parallel with the amp. Otherwise they will block the power supply to the amp completely.

    This page shows you how.
