    this is in sydney.....and i just checked....the toyo r888 in 195/55R15 is still going for $130 each fitted & balanced. (i previously thought it was 195/50R15....but i stand corrected)

    thing is if everyone starts buying them from here...they're just gonna jack the price up.......

    and r888 is not as soft as re55s

    Hey guy, I believe Penguin's quoted price is definitely correct. I was just doing some research on this tyre and came across this thread on nissansilvia.com. Some interesting read and some information on why these tyres are so cheap.

    Scroll down about 2/3 of the thread and look for user "karupt"s post.

    Last but DEFINITELY not least:
    Toyo R888
    Size: 225/45/16
    Grip:
    Dry: 99,000/10
    Wet: yet to try them..
    Track: yet to try them..
    Cost: $150 each WTF?? I purchased these from Taleb tyres in tempe.. best score ever.. my car is so fugn tractable now its not even funny

    it doesnt say wats GGG compound tyre is suitable for tho...
