    removing dc5 taillights

    some help with removing the tail light assembly on a base dc5??

    it seems like i have to take the entire rear bumper off ??

    i don't think you have to, so you've taking all the nuts off the back of the tail light?

    If its n e thing like the DC2/4 all u gotta do is get in the boot, and take off the triming behind the rear tails.
    From there, simply unscrew the rear tails, unhook the rear lights, and then push them out from inside the boot.

    you dont have to remove the bumper but you may fins it easier to do so. there is a screw in the bottom of each light. not the easiest to get to but have a look under the bumper and you should be able to see em. you'll need a long screw driver tho.

    i found it wayyyyyy easier taking the rear bumper off. less chance of f**king things up. i think u can find DIY instructions on http://forums.clubrsx.com then do a search.

    looks like ill be trying to get the bumper off this weekend.
