    please dont post assumptions as facts, in practice the gearboxes are fine with turbo conversions.

    And it torque that kills gearboxes, rather than power

    i said "most" gearboxes, if it makes u happy and stops u from crying then by all means consider urs an exeption...

    you didnt say most at all. And even if you did, you would be wrong...there have been few gearbox related problems until you get to built engines/high torque

    and please do educate me as to why what i have said is ridiculous and so technically incorrect, rather than just make a claim. because i would love to know what i have got so terribly wrong.

    I mean ... Mine's been turbo for what? About 2-3 years now and still no gearbox problems?

    Wow man you've clearly educated me

    Can't believe I didn't think of this earlier - gonna go to a gearbox specialist asap.

    for whoever was asking, if ur ready to waste that much money on a H22A conversion then atleast just get the conversion, dont be silly and fork out all ur money to turbo a FWD that has 110kw already...

    lol i don have to, ur just hoping someone else with a turbo h22a runs in and backs u up so u can go to sleep tonite thinking the work done to ur car was worth it and u will never have any problems with it...
