    I dont knwo about Sydney mate... 2 months ago i bought my ek4... and they were all going for 16000 plus. BUT its worth getting a good condition one... i drove a few that were in bad nick, and believe these cars need to be serviced...

    and i'm not making an obvious comment here... some cars can live wthotu a service record but sitll give good performance... ek4s cant

    neway Basically what ur expecting...

    12-13000 = Real thrashed/high milelage

    14- 15000 = usually average milelage, or cars that have been modded... personally i dont like buying modded cars, i rather do it myself.... cos u know the previous owner was revvving it like nething

    16-17000 = realistic price for a good condition, not hoon previous owner

    19000 = 20000 dealer price

    i paid 17000, so mine was expensive as nething...

    1997
    98000 or so on the clock
    no accidents
    immaculate service record
    clean inside/out
    basiaclly man the car was as new... when i drove it first time, (compared tothe other ones i bought)... it felt like a new car...
    .. '

    btw mate i'm in mleboure... i heard u guys have cars chaeper going on in sydney
