    EK + B18C + ITB + DD-Tune + Shit Street Tyres = 13.51@103mph!

I kept a close eye on the this thread...

    http://ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52043

Asked a few questions that no one answered, and most probably never even had experienced and just talking out of there arses as per normal internet e-mechanics. So i said wtf, let just do and see what happens.

Big thanks to Zi from JDMYard for hooking me up with the Goods.

    And

Big thanks to DynoDave for hooking me up with the Tune.

    Details of Engine Setup:

    Engine: B18CR
Cams: Toda A (staight drop in, nothing else changed) - Dave is comming back tp dial in the cams later.
    Headers: BuddyClub Race Headers
    Exhaust: Mugen Twin Loop
    Flywheel: Spoon
    Clutch: Excedy HD Organic
Drivetrain: CTR gearbox with ATS FD
Misc: Spoon thermo n switch, koyo radiator, cusco solid mounts, hondata intake gasket, no ps, no ac.

    Intake: A-Sport Individual Throttle Bodies!!!!!

    Ecu: Hondata S300

    Installation:

Didn't take that long, hardest part was working out how all the vaccum lines and IVAC was gonna work. Most people go with the log manifold, but i didn't have a dollar to my name so i just "T'd" off a bunch of lines to all the vaccum bits i needed. I used all the factory sensors too keep it OEM. Hooked the IVAC to a coolant source and that was pretty much it. It was a bit of messing around, but if you knew your stuff it wasn't that hard.

    Before tune:

I was quite surprised to find that my bodgy install worked right out of the bat. The car ran like shit, but it still ran, lol. Idle would die wheneve it felt like it, can't change throttle position to quick or it just bogs.

    After Road tune for A/F:

So after years of waiting, lol, Dave finally made it up to QLD. But i must admit it was worth the wait. We hooked up a wide band sensor and Dave started to fix up the fuel map and was quite happy with how the progress was goin. I was driving around that night, not sure what to think, cause it still drove like shit. Vtec was loud and wild but the car was no responsive or nice to drive at all. Was kinda disspointed at that point...

    After Final Tune on Dyno:

Watching my car on the dyno was awsome. When ever vtec kicked in everyone had to block there ears, lol. The noise that the ITB's put is just awsome. The car started with 111kw and a f ucked up power curve. After some fine tuning - in the end we managed 123kw with a very nice smooth meating power curve.

After it was done on the dyno, i took it out for a drive again. OMG it was amazing, couldn't wipe the smile off my face. The car drives like stock, but just a shit load more power and torque everywhere. The power delivery was just unreal. Best part was driving normally, you would not know that i got quads.

Here's the only pic i have atm, will get some more later.

    YOUTUBE!!!

Graph - After today's Cam Timming Tune, lost 1kw up top but gained 10kw in the mid range.

Forget Dyno Graphs heres the facts:
    13.51@103mph on Factory EK4 Tyres (Dunlop FM901)

Another pic for your Viewing Pleasure

Just in case you don't know what the car looks like.

EDIT - Don't trust DynoDave for anything. He currently still owes me thousands of dollars and has done a runner. His done this to many people on this forum.

Will be interesting to see how the rings last with no filter are you going to keep it a daily or just a toy now. maybe for street use you could remove the velocity stacks an fit a little uni filter from a motorbike on each throttle bodie

have you got any close up pics of the runners and the injector setup
