    MY06 STi Cat?

Just wondering how good these cats flow?

A friend just got an MRT XB package on his 2005 2.5L STi and he is giving me his standard cat.
Is it a good upgrade on an NA 2 litre?

Only worth if if you have high flow headers and exhaust.

i asked this question on a WRX forum and they told me that they flow well but wouldnt be much of a upgrade from the one you already have.

    how big is the piping?

  6. #6
    Thanks guys
I am unsure how big the STi cat piping is but I would assume at least 2.5"?

I run extractors and have 2.5" mandrel exhaust but using at the moment just a Magna OEM cat
And I was about to buy a stainless mesh 2.5" cat but thought that this might be good enough and it's free

    stock piping is 2.25"
