6000 should be enough for some decent stuff.

    $1500ish headers
    $1000ish catback
    $1000ish clutch and flywheel
    $400ish intake
    $1500 coilovers

    That's what i'd start with.

If you still got some cash, ECU and get it tuned.

ok so thats what this iste is for...lets be ure bitch...cmon give us a breakkk

6k, im thinking a frankenstein conversion, thought not sure if its within your budget.

    Headers...get some Toda's. $1200 or so.
    Exhaust, Rmo1a - $1000
    Intake $350 or so
Get it tuned + ecu or piggy back...$1000
    Then spend money else where.

    Good luck.

    Gday m8,

I would suggest that you spend your money wisely on purchasing immediate performance needs such as, full exhaust system Header all the way to muff. Intake manifold throttle body and cold air intake. As well as a programable stand alone engine managment system. That should put a smile on your face and some go in ya car.

    Hope this helps,

Don't be in a rush to spend 6K man.

You'll be surprised how easy it is to buy 6 grand worth of shit and totally ruin your car and your bank balance.

Take ya time and do ya research.

I really think you need to research how an engine works and what is needed to make it perform better before you just jump in with a shopping list from a magazine or something.

Barefoot's got a descent list. Thats pretty much what i've done/am doing.

Apart from that i'd definately look into brakes. You'll be surprised how your times will increase when you can stop faster and more accurately.
