    Oil Temperature gauge

    Hi all,
I am wondering which set up is most suiable for me..

I have been advised to get mechanical as they are more accurate and that no oil lines need to be run into the cabin unlike oil pressure gauages..

however what are the downsides to a mechanical one? or should i simply get electrical and why?

From my understanding i would need
    - gauage (either eletrical or mechanical
    - electrical lines for electrical or copper line for mechanical
    - sensor

is it the same sensor for both mechanical and electrical...
whats the easiest and most accurate spot to place the sensor? im trying to avoid tapping sump..

thanks for all these noob questions

a good quality electrical one will be fine.

the quickest and easiest way is to get an adaptor plate for the oil filter.
