when my p72 was stock'ish,the 4400-4800rpm vtec change was barely noticeable,very slight noise,very slight kick,you wouldnt know if u didnt know it was happening.

the IAB change at 5750rpm was very noticeable,as witnessed on a dyno graph i have.

so if u didnt know about the IAB's & were listening/feelin for vtec kicks,it would feel like 2 stages,slight 4400rpm & more noticable at 5750rpm.
