Need some suggestions...

Hi guys,

Got a Honda Jazz VTi-S '06.

I just need some suggestions / opinions on what do I need to get for my car to improve its lack of power (kw/hp/torque)

current mods:
Apexi CAI
Xforce Header
Xforce Downpipe w/ Hi Flow Cat
Apexi N1 muffler

Thinking either get a bipipe or straight cat from the downpipe...but it will make my car look low...

280mm front disc brakes w/ racing brake pads
well I got the 17s wheels thats what makes my car slower...

No Turbo, just want to keep it as N/A and no B18 yet

you could do a tune up, after those mods.. get your self a nice ecu to go with it.

how about some internal work? have you looked into it?

hmmm...not really a bif fan of aftermarket ecu...

What kind of internal work? I'm still newb here hehe...just got the car 6-7 months ago hihi...not many has been done to the car yet...only ones showed on my signatures ^^

^ ditto. ECU and tuned to your new mods.
i suggest 15" wheels for less rotational mass over the 17's.

internal work such as, cams, pistons, spring valves, head work and a few other things.

better clutch/fly wheel to help put the power down, it all depends on your dosh $$ and how much power you want, which is why the tune/dyno is needed so you know what power figures your getting.

oh yeah I've changed my clutch to heavy duty and thats the only internal work i did...

How much will I need to spend of all those internal works if I want to get them install on my car? Just roughly

Is there actually much that you can do to a Jazz? The engine bay is pretty small so there's not much you can add on to it...

UBH320 Take your own advice and lose the 17s and add some decent rubber to some lightweight 15s

Try some weight reduction?

Lightweight flywheel and a heavy duty clutch will improve acceleration and gear change times, which will affect performance without actually increasing power. My clutch slips a bit if I slam into second from redline.. in other conditions you would think the clutch is perfect though.

My car sometimes, its quite hard to change from first to second and it just feels like it stuck or something...not sure why, but hoping that is not coz of the clutch?
