    Hi-Comp H22A All Motor Civic

Last night the Hi-Comp Performance Allmotor Civic ran 12.80 @ 109.44mph on shitty 17" street tyres on its 6th full pass. 60' was a poor 2.2.

We weren't expecting to get into the 12's so easily so are absolutely stoked at the result. The times should tumble next year so keep an eye out.

    NOTE CHANGES ABOVE

Its an EG Civic with a H22A and H22A non LSD box. 4.7 diff ratio. The car weighs 804kg without driver with the heavy 17's on the front. Mods are limited to some headwork and slightly more compression. Runs a bellmouth CAI and last night ran factory H22A headers with a 2.5" exhaust with a single muffler. This exhasut system is only for street meets. Usually it runs open headers. ECU is an EMS.

With the open headers and mods as above it made 135kw at the wheels.

Thanks for the support. Much to learn about the car and what works and doesn't work. For instance the 12.8 was done on our last run and was achieved by revving it harder. More rpm next time.

Yep. That was us when Angus was racing the STU88Y Civic.

Most of the runs had 110mph. Once the shift points are worked out right I wouldn't be surprised to see 111-112mph as is.

    Weight taken out:
    - no intrusion bars in doors
    - no dash
    - no power steering
    - no alternator
    - fuel tank replaced with 11L aluminium one
    - no carpet etc

There is still more weight to be taken out of it. It still runs all factory glass and hatch. The 17" rims it was run with last night are heavy as. Once some lightweight 13" rims and slicks are put on, that should reduce the weight down below 800kg by itself. The times last night were run at 860kg with (very skinny ie light) driver.

This is only the beginning of a long development process.
