    Throttle bodies are on and car tuned. Well, as tuned as it can be with current setup. The standard headers are now choking the hell out of the engine so its time to make up a muffled system with new headers for street meets and Super Street duties.

    They might be out tomorrow night racing. Not sure at this stage.

    Time for an update. The guys have been running the car at street meets as usual with the same times being recorded as pre quads. This was due to the standard headers choking the engine as I mentioned above. Well how do we know. Well the car got put back on the dyno tonight with the open headers and retuned. The result......and increase of 12kw at the wheels at peak power with a maximum increase of 15kw at 6,500rpm. So peak power is now 145kw at the wheels @ 8,300rpm.

    We are hoping for a pb at Compak Attak. Thats assuming that it doesn't fry the tyres or the engine goes by by.

    Its all a set process Joe wants to go through to keep track of what does and doesn't work and by how much each change benefits the engine. Its all part of a development process that will see packages being developed for the H22A with gains we know are thee rather than theoretical.

    The other factor is time. But after Compak Attak it will happen.

    And thanks for the encouragement guys. It means a lot.

    Well all that extra power proved worth it today, along with the lowest weigt the car has ever been, 767kg.

    Today Luke ran a PB of 11.71 @ 115.76mph with a 1.76 60ft which is by no means anywhere near the best it has done. It has gone into the 1.6's so there is definitely more left in the car.

    All the boys are absolutely stoked.
