Joe bought some Weld Draglites and Mickey Thompson slicks today for the front. I will be getting some more photos in the next few days.
What size slicks are they?

We are heading out to WSID tonight for the first time with the slicks. Hopefully we'll improve on the 12.8.
goodluck for tonight
Any update from today ? THis EG should run easy 12.5 with slicks.

Had a big reply all typed and then we had a power failure here so lost it all. Can't be bothered retyping it. The short version is Joe, the owner, drove the car for the first time. Run 1 - 2.3 60'. Aborted when the car in the other lane crossed into his lane. Brown undies time. Baptism of fire. Run 2 - 2.3 60'. 13.1 @ 108mph. Shortshifted a couple of gears. Run 3. - 2.2 60'. 12.9 @ 109mph. Now we're getting somewhere. Run 4 - 1.94 60'. 12.58 @ 110.64mph Absolutely stoked. We packed up then. There were HEAPS of cars and it was a huge meet. Be back next week with me driving hopefully.
With those slicks you should be pulling alot faster 60ft. We ran 22x8x15 on egk20a Version 1 back then , and I pulled consistent 1.7 60ft. Congrats anyway for running faster times. I believe there is still room for improvement.
