basically all HIDs are illegal if they dont come with the car stock..

there are plenty of oem reflector hid set ups.

This isn't to be confused with putting hids into a car that came with halogen lights, projector or reflectors, which is illegal in any way, shape, or form in just about every industrialized country in the world.

in Aus HID is illegal if you dont have headlight washers cant remember the other reason. Do a search on Ozhonda, I probably answer this qns over 10times
but 6000k white light is ok but 8000k comes out blue and you probably asking for trouble in the police eyes.

All aftermarket modified parts are illegal....even led park globes....but since there is so many of them around cops just keep their eye close unless you do sth stupid.....

How come my mates EVO 8 passed compliance and registration without washers?? it has HID lights champ

His brothers EVO 7 tooo

i believe ur mates inported their EVOs under personal imports?
if so, ADR standards may be omitted...

Atleast i think so.. yes they were imported. Bought them off your typical importer guy and all the rest of it
