    I just did my first highway trip on the weekend in my 2006 euro and did 800 k's on 60 litres.
    When I filled the tank near the end of the trip the reading was 937k's to empty.

    The consumption was reading 7.5L/100k's.

    The average around town has been 9.7L/100k's for the first 3,000k's.

    Glad my SS V8 commodore is going.........worked out about $150 for the same 1,000 trip compared to $100 for the euro.

    I'm damn impressed as the trip was by no means conservative on the throttle.

    I can see that 1,000 k's on a tank could be achievable!

    Best = mostly freeway driving and very light foot = 725 kms with 57L used

    Worst = mostly city and occasional heavy foot = 430kms with 51L used

    Usually = 530kms per tank

    On my Euro, 500km when the light comes on in city driving, and 940km for pure freeway driving.
