06 Wipers

I was not able to find anything in here about 06 wipers, despite searching. I know over at Acurazine there is a big thread about how bad the 06 wipers are.

With it finally raining here in Adelaide I've experienced an issue with my wipers.

They recently started to "chatter" as they wiped and wonder do other 06 owners have this issue ?

What have you done to resolve it ?

Mine have been fine since early 2006, no probs at all. Whisper silent.

Try coating the blade edges with Graphite Powder and give the Windscreen a good clean with decent Window Cleaner

No probelms with mine either.

Try using "rainex". Have found in the past that it seems to make the wipers move more smoothly accross the screen.

Yeah I use the SONAX Windscreen Wash Concentrate, maybe thats why its working fine

Go to Autobarn, get some Sonax windscreen washer additive. It's an orange liquid. Put a bit into your washer water and spray while wiping. It'll smooth out.

Could not complain one bit about mine, best wipers ive used!

Ive got a recent '06 and there is wiper noise on the last 5% of its movement. Sounds is similar to as if it was dry... and its annoying.

sounds like the wipers would have been very dry and dirty. have you tried giving them a clean?

No prob with my wipers
although the rubber on the wipers are like thick as.... they make no noise

No problems at all with my wipers. Completely silent and good.
