yeh its illegal to remove safety equipment, the insurance company may reject a claim when they find out. Unless you tell the insurance company before hand, but they wouldnt accept it in the first place.

But the good news is that you can buy Recaro's with built in SRS Airbags: http://www.recaro.com/index.php?id=174&L=2

The Recaro is more heavily bolstered than stock -- particularly on the base. I would also assume that the bolsters would have more internal frame (rather than just padding) and so would be harder.

I have compare stock seat and recaro with rails
i feel like the same or recaro is a bit lighter.....
compare to my previous Jazz, the jazz seat is lighter
so maybe the airbag and those thing make the different

why is that? what happen to you?
I have deal with them for more than 4 years now. In my Jazz and Euro, they replace the new parts for my car. Last time my Euro got broken in, they replace the door coz it is just scratched by broken window and I can choose my own panel shop.
