how do these go with low current draw like alarm systems for extended periods

Action: not bad at all with low current draw, we leave our car ( with alarm system) in the gerage for over 2 weeks, not a single problem when we go crank the baby up.

USUALLY with this type of battery ~ only drawback is the smaller reserve.
IE you cannot sit in your car for extended periods of time with accessories on.(sound system / lights etc) as this will drain the battery quicker than a normal larger battery.

But , this battery has everything else BETTER than a normal battery
Maintenance free ! Lightweight ! Great cranking power etc.

Do these batteries outgas hydrogen on their charging cycle?

Can they be mounted sideways, upside-down etc?

Can they be legally relocated to the trunk (with suitable battery box)?
I'm thinking along the lines of an Odyssey dry cell battery.

yes you can mount it upside down if you like.
