Gen 1 CR-V only has one child seat anchor?

Hi, we currently have one child seat hooked up to the anchor mounted on the roof of our gen 1 CR-V. This child seat is used by our two year old daughter.

Shhh...but we are talking about trying for baby number two very soon, so I was doing some forward planning for a second child seat and noticed that our V only has one anchor to connect the seat to.

As it is already taken up by the existing seat, is there any way to have a second baby seat hooked up?? The other side only has a plastic cover there, not a roof mounted anchor like the left side.

Does this mean the CR-V is only equipped to have ONE baby seated installed at any one time??

you have to remove that cover and you should find a threaded hole then you can either buy another sexy one like you have from honda or you can buy plain black metal anchors that will screw straight into the thread

but also what age weight bracket can a child move to a booster seat in your state because the baby should be atleast 9 months away problly more 12 months and by then your 2 year old will be over 3 years and maybe can use a booster seat that utilises the lap sash seat belt

ah ok cool another Queensland Dad i think its a matter of personal preference when you put your child to a booster seat. You may want to also use a harness with a booster thoe as they are a lil better than just the cars seat belt.

as for getting another anchor id just try honda as they would sell those anchor kits that you have or maybe you can get lucky at a wreckers or if you want you can buy just plain black metal anchor kits that come with the bolt that is needed from most places like kmart in the baby section for around $14

edit:woops i nearly forgot check out this site for more info
