    current generation CRV AWD system

what type of AWD system is used on the current generation CRV, is it still a viscous coupling, or is it now an electronic clutch or wet clutch system?

anyone got one, how well does it work - the early CRV viscous coupling system is reactionary, in that the front wheels have to slip before the rears get any real drive to them, are the current ones the same?

By current generation, do you mean the just release 3rd gen?

Either way, the system is still the same: viscous coupling, reacting to front wheel slip.

The system was recallibrated on the 2005 model onwards and then again in the latest.

I just bought one of the last of the old models and haven't tried it out in that way yet.
