    O2 sensor

    anyone know where the o2 sensor cable source(plugged to) ? i want to extend the cable but i want to extend it from the source ..

    The other end goes to the ecu. You'll need a pinout of the ecu connectors.

    do you know the whereabout of this ecu? accesible from under the bonnet?

    No idea where it would be in a jazz. Probably not under the bonnet though. Probably somewhere under the dash or in the front seat footwell. Sorry I can't be of more help.

    i remember reading that you can't test an O2 sensor with a multimeter. Don't know why but i think the end result is expenxive lol.

    You can test with a multimeter. Easier with a test harness though so you can take readings while the car is on. But you don't need to do this if you're just moving it and extending wires. Just make sure you use the same gauge/type wiring and like claymore said. It would probably be much easier to do at the sensor end where the wires are clumped together.

    Just make sure you take your time and do very good connections.

    quick question.

    putting an apex'i powerintake in the jazz. how do u take out the sensor from the oem intake? so i can place it in the apex'i

    the sensor is installed on the downpipe after the header .. i assume you just upgrade your air intake, therefore, sensor no need to be removed ..
