    rocket cover? umm no diy but my friend did it . pretty straight forward. you need to remove your rocket cover first ofcos unless you doing the dodgy way.

    to remove cover, remove the nuts holding it (there is a DIY on this with pictures, search)

    then you have to degrease the cover with some solvent based degreaser which can be brought from local auto shop.

    once dry spray away with High temperature paint also sold at your local auto shop.

    let it set and spray over it again once 1st layer is dry.

    then put it back on and your done.

    the paint should start to crinkle after a few days.

    you should be ok, its just like painting anything.

    is the rocket cover the yellow bits on my engine? (see my avatar on the left)
    if it is, then it is a rocker cover not rocket.
    And its easy to do it.
    just look at the post above from EK4R.
    I did mine like he said.
