Thread: SUB BOX

    hey fella's

    ive got a sub box for 2x12s but the problem is it has a couple of drill holes in it...........is that a problem?

    can i just putty them up n fill the holes?

    Make sure you fill the holes so that the box is nice and air tight and you should be fine!

    putty will do the job or silicon glue

    even if it isnt completely air tight you wont notice a difference, but yes putty or silicon will be fine

    also is it okay to mount the amp to the back of the sub box?

    you can but not optimum...ive seen heaps of people do it with no ill effect...the myth is the vibrations can loosen the internal componentson the amp...just screw into back seat for peace of mind.
