All Honda ECUs have a part number which is located on a sticker on the side of the ECU and inside the ECU on the connector. e.g. XXXXX- p72 - A02 etc.
The 1st number is the HONDA ECU number
the 2nd number relate to the car / engine
the 3rd number is the revision of the ECU

    Correct - its OBD0 - and most likely it will be a PR3 or a PW0.

??? another ECU outside the car? can you clarify this?

is your car an Auto? if so could possibly your Auto transmission module.

But as from what Bennjamin said, thats how u identify the coding / serial numbers on the ECU.

best bet would be is take a pic of the whole ECU from the top view and on the plug view and type up the numbers correctly yo!

    then we can start again!!
