    Talking $25,000...

    hey all.

seeing as i just received a little lump of money got my eyes set on new engine plus a few other things.

i need aout $3000 for other things (eg: nice key scratch down passenger side and a few cracks etc etc)

so now leaves me with $22,000.

i know im going to get a type r b18c5 engine thrown into my car but i wonder what else to spend on.

any ideas whether to go straight out turbo or keep n/a.

any suggestions and advice etc would help me along teh way on how to spend it on my integra and get more bang for my buck.

    laters.

    matt.

    that duzy's old car?
    22k on the motor?
either rebuild your motor, and then boost it or.

    get a k series swap.
    both won't dissapoint.

    Bang for your buck=Turbo.
You could put in a b18c5 but it won't feel overly impressive for the money spent.Your starting with a heavier car.
Rebuilding your current motor with boost will produce heaps more performance for your $$$$.

Look it really depends what you want out of it.
If it's just power then build and boost your b18b,the outcome will put a smile on your face.
If its for show aswell then a k-swap would impress but budget approx 10k+.

    k20a swap definately.

wont have reliability issues that you might with turbo, yet you'll still have a ridiculously quick car.
you'll still have plenty of upgrade options, ie na tuning, ITB's, exhaust, cams, management etc etc.

if you choose to go turbo though, there would be a strong argument to keeping your current engine. you can still make very very good power on a b18b. you'd be able to do a full rebuild with turbo in mind, even to the extent of stuff like ceramic coatings, if you want to

on an unrelated note, were you outside the CBD, and at one stage talking to a girl called eve, last sunday? if so, i met you haha.
