Most turbo engines aren't designed for mid range...........

    Generally speaking,

    Low-Mid= Blower

    Top end= Turbo

    No,

You can have a low end range with the correctly chosen turbo (of course its never going to be instant) as it is the same with mid-end etc. It all depends on what the car is going to be used for.

Your power/quater mile goals are easily acheived with the stock engine internals, decent turbo setup and minor weight reduction.

Theres heaps of info on turbo charging B16A's. Have a search please.

Good luck on your 12 sec pass it's not as easy as you think. Anyways if you're building a b16 for turbo it's not really the head you have to conentrate on. Bottom end is where it's at for boost.
    Toda Built D-SERIES Fo LiFe!

    Civic + Chromies + D-series + Turbo = Subwoofer Sick

    My kill list:

Like fishman said, it's not really the head that you are looking at when boosting. Sure, ported polished etc will always make you extra power, but it's really money you don't need to spend.

The best set of cams you can buy for a B16A with boost is ITR cams (I actually have set from when I was going to boost my B16 - PM me if you're interested). I did extensive research and even spoke to some US guys to find this out and 8/10 of them all said the same thing - ITR cams.

didnt think a 12sec pass would be easy in a honda.....
but still hoping to rip out a 12sec pass after the turbo kit is on
