    ek civic d16y spark plugs

Hi, bit confused about which model NGK spark plugs are for the ek d16y civic. My old ones model number is ZFR5J. Ones i was given at autobarn are BKR6E. Will these ones do, or should i go back and get ones to match the old ZFR5J?

Depends on the motor your have

So if you have a Y4/5 then go back and swap them...

Waste just get the normal ones and change them every 10,000km at $4 a pop hardly expensive

If you change them every 10,000km at $4 each then when compared to iridium plugs which last 80,000-100,000kms you'll be using 8-10 copper plugs for every 1 iridium plug. That would equal $32-$40 worth of copper plugs. The iridium plugs are around $20 each and don't need to be gapped. But in the end the choice is yours.
