CIVIC EK + ASR + AUDM ITR SWAY...does it work?

im pretty sure i've read that with the asr brace on a EK civic, you can fit either the ek9 or dc2r swaybars... just want to confirm as i cant find the information atm
so question is. can a AUDM ITR rear sway bar fit straight on to a EK with a ASR brace?

    thanks in advance guys

yes it will, the sway bar will fit no worries. but you'll need to use EK endlinks on the sway bar.

how thick are the ctr and itr sways?

so wat your saying is :

ctr or itr sway + ek end links + asr kit = perfect on eks

is that eks that already have sways or that dont? or doesnt matter?

Doesnt matter, if yours come with a sway bar already just use the end links of it.

yep it fits. and nope doesn't matter. probably a big waste of money when a whiteline kit is less then half the price. but if you want bling it's a MUST! lol

    Yes to above.
When installing a BEAKS or ASR kit they both will suit all EK's. The subframes are the same , as you have to drill out the mounting points on the
subframe OR drill holes lower depending on the kit (beaks or asr).

Ben, that is not the case on all ek's. Some are a straight bolt on - no drilling required.
See a good post? Give it a PQ point.

    I should be exact -

    For the ASR kit -
EK4 and EM1's require the mounting holes to be drilled out. This is to allow the bolts to grip firmly and properly to the reinforcement behind.
I believe you CAN leave it , but it made strip the thread of the bolts as you tighten the bolts through it.
For the BEAKS kit , you need to drill an extra hole thru the bottom of the subrame for the lower bolt to go thru. (below the 2 mouning holes either side)I believe this is the case for all EK's.

Anyway a BEAKS or ASR kit + ITR or CTR swaybar is a good combo
