where is the hole on the firewall for 07 civic??

I'm running a 4 gauge power cable from the battery. I find something interesting that there is a hole on the firewall which allows me to get power to the trunk.

but i have spent years to find the HOLE. Can someone help me locate the hole??

Not sure, at least I can't find any pics about the hole. This is my first new car, and I don't want to drill a new one.

There is a grommet letting the wiring through the firewall to the electronics in the interior. you can use that. Just make a small cut on the grommet (to the side of the wiring going through and put your power cable through.

Is that enough for a 4 gauge wire?

It was enough for 2 pieces of 6 gauge, so it should be enough for one 4 gauge wire. The grommet itself is about 5cm in diameter.

Any more details? Is it under the driver side or passenger side?

Is the grommet located in about the mid of the firewall under the driver side?

Usually it's slightly to the passenger's side.

check on driver side, it's just above the foot rest. there's a round plastic part. you can just push it with your finger and it'll pop out.
