Good tyres for Euro 17" Rims

    Hi guys,

I'm about to replace my stock 16" rims with 17" luxury ones. What tyres would you guys recommend for it? I think the standard size is 225/45R17. My budget is around $1000-$1200 for the set. I'm after performance and feel with reasonable wear.

    Any ideas/opinions are welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

you can get goodyear eagle f1 gs-d3 for around 250-300 a corner (that's the price I paid a few years ago though)

Honestly, I was really disappointed with the f1 gs-d3... after about 15,000km they really feel lacking in grip and only lasted me 30,000km or so.

I'd suggest advan sport v103, instead I'm using them now and they're great: higher grip level, quieter, less tramlining and a more subtle appearance.

Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
