As I've been told, 1 of the best set up are 215/40/17 tyres all round. Can we run these set up on stock suspension without any issues?
really depends on what are the TE's specs are than you'll know what would be the best set up for the FD.

find out what specs he bought and we'll let you know our opinion on what to run....

    nice!

im currently running 17x9 + 35 all round with tyres 215/45/17 they give that nice stretch

dont think he should run 40's on the tyres as you may have more chance to buckle them on the roads in australia (esp sydney)

Does anyone know the Coilover Spring Size for the 8th Gen Civics?

Tighten the fronts by lifting the spring perch and you can get the rears reset by a shop. Not sure If that makes them stiffer, I know they can compress them

My front coilovers Height is adjusted by the preload of the unit. I dont have a third Collar like most Coilovers these days
