Since we're on the subject of intakes...
my warranty is gonna run out may this year, I've been eyeing on this for awhile. It's abit overkill but lets just say I would like the noise.
Yup. If i remember correctly. Its about the $600 mark for relocation kit and intake.
Not bad considering a Injen CAI is about that price aswell.
Guys! I need some help with your expertise
Got two problems...
Problem one
I bought a K&N Typhoon kit which was made for the Si
Any was told that it fits the Australian FD2. Put it in and the intake pipe is on the wrong
angle because our throttle is different. So i ended up getting the grinder out and cutting off most of
the heatshield. But can easily be rewelded back together. It fits and works fine but if I put the heatshield in
it just sits on an angle and touches the bonnet. But without the shield it works
Anyone know how to turn the pipe?
Problem Two
Due to the car being too low my axle is hitting my exhaust. Went to my local exhaust place and ask if
they can do an exhaust tuck. But cannot be done to the car. He says the car is too low blah blah blah...
I Know the car is too low and I want to keep it that way and not have people tell me it is. Even though I came
to him happy to pay money to fix the problem then he gave me a lecture about car being too low -.-
He said theres no harm in it touching but it get annoying when im turning left and the car touches it
