If you're on stock height now and it rubs. You will be lucky to be able to turn your wheel on a 2.5" drop with 245/45 tyres.
I would personally skip the springs and get smaller tyres. Worst case, You install your springs and the car is stuck and cant move because of your tyres.

I had 215/45 on 17x8+32 with 1.5" drop srpings and my car couldnt turn. Going straight was almost a mission. The slightest bump and the guards would smash against the tyre.
Thats a bit strange. I'm on 1.6" drop neuspeed springs + koni shocks with 17x8 + 38 225/45 and i have no problems. That extra offset surely cant make that big of a difference? All my guards are rolled (not pulled) though. I tested 17x9+35 225/45 and no problems either.

This was ages ago. Had Eibach springs. Stock shocks. No guard modifications
with 215/45 tyres. I think its your Koni Shocks that made the difference.

My front guards pulled itself over the last year or so when I started going stanced.
If you look at my ca head on it looks like I have Widen/Flared guards. Looks pretty cool lol

Love it. Just need wire it to a switch or to my ignition as it doesnt turn off. No harm. Wont drain my battery but yeah.

What do you mean it turns off? My one doesn't need to do anything. Just plug in and have fun
Why your phone holder in the left handside? Is it not for you?

I dont know much about the details but it doesnt turn off when the car is off.

My brother was playing with it when I was driving.

It was like that when I first got the D1Spec controller. Most of the time, it doesn't know how to turn itself off when the ignition is off. Sometimes it knows how to.
It's not enough to drain your battery, but it's obviously not good. DIY switch should only cost a couple of dollars anyway.
