hey guys in regards to this FD2R conversion
    http://team99ers.2.forumer.com/a/hon..._post2170.html

If you get the original type R kit, in which way does it not fit or does it just not line up nicely?
I am just wondering because this guy seems to have gotten an original type R kit if i am not wrong but he also had to buy new fenders

I did a straight connection to the deck with a male-male 3.5mm cable.

LOL my bad, must've never noticed.

dny, why don't you just try sell ur car instead? or return it to stock and appreciate what a great, economical little car the civic FD is?

the greatest mod you can do is to ur own mindset

    Critical help needed! argh!

Stripped my dash for the second time today as I started noticing that the audio output from the AUX cable seemed like there was no treble (sounded like it was at -6) whereas in fact its at +6. Bass seemed a bit poopy too.

I played around with the ipod controls (EQ etc) and nothing seemed to help it.

Could it be the quality of the audio cable...? I bought it from Jaycar.

I checked the connections 10 times and they seemed fine BUT the difference is I did NOT use crimped ends, rather I stripped the wires and stuck them in snugly.

None of the wires were touching each other and they were all in the right positions (after all I had music playing quite well).

In the end I took out the damn thing and put my dash back together again (agonizing over the bloody a/c tube).

    Sigh, help!

P.S. Is it normal for my FD to flash three times when I lock it?
