DIY - Ghetto P Plate Holder

Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor OzHonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following.

Well we all know about the stupid f'ked up P laws intro'ed onto Sydney P Plate drivers at the beginning of this month and also seeing my 3rd Gen Lude has absolutely no place to put these damn clunky P Plates I went hunting...
    - P Plate Holding Brackets - Nope can't fit em' onto my 3rd gen Lude...
    - Sticky Tape... Too Ugly...
    - Lodging them between the numberplate and the car - Warped my damn # Plate

Anyway So I figured I'd wire them onto my car...

First step is to get some wire. I went to bunnings for this. 1.85mm Thick.

Next is to make 2 holes on either edge of the Plate.

The 3rd step is a little bit different for everyone. You should be able to find somewhere you can twist and latch the wire onto on your car. This is how I did mine. (For the Rear I hooked it up to a toe bar that was already on the car when i bought it)

cop must be in a pretty shitty mood to dick you for 1.85mm wire obscuring ur p plate .. lol but anything can happen

but you could always just thread the wire down the sides
i.e. in the last picture run the wire thru the two holes so no obscuring

    more effort tho :P

    not a bad idea...

but what i did was use a few rubber bands tied them up together since they weren't long enough and hooked them to my number plate...
