    Reverse gear

Takes a few goes in my DC2R to get into reverse properly, I switch to another and then have to be quite forceful. Anyone had similar experiences?

it normal for the 99 dc2r's... mine does it....

just only try select at complete stop... put in 3rd then reverse... if it doesn't do it then, put in N and take foot of clutch and then try the above again, until it works...

it ***n annoying, i know how u feel... can be pretty embarrassing 2! haha

Clutch In - First - Neutral - Clutch Out - Clutch In - Reverse

Goes in not too bad when warm though. You get over it pretty quick.

Its possable your friction disk is slightly warped causing the input shaft to spin when the clutch is disengaged and because reverse doesnt have a syncro it cant slow down the gear. when you go to third the synco slows the shaft down to a stop and you can select reverse.
