B16a Swapped - How to service
So I swapped in a B16a from Japan and dont know what has been replaced and what hasn't (in terms of belts etc.)
How should I treat the next service? The engine has done 140k. Should I treat it as a major service (ie. timing belts, the works) or what?
I plan to take it to Hanny's but I dont know what to tell them to do.
In suggesting options, I would appreciate if people could mention prices.
Thanks

everytime, i buy a car, or one of my mates buy a car, usually a honda.
which has no service history.
the works gets done to it.
eg.
timing belt, water pump, cam seals, crank seals, rocker cover gasket, spark plug tube seals
oil, oil filter, transmission fluid, brake fluid, fuel filter, air filter, coolant, spark plugs, also thermostat.
tappets, we usually rip off the sump and check the oil pick up as well.
probably over kill, but hey, better safe then sorry.
and also clean teh injectors, by sending them away.
cleaning throttle body and intake as well aye.
lol.

and oh, the a/c, power steering and alternator belts, inspect em, if they're fine, jsut leave em, easy to change them anyways.
if they show cracks or splits in the belt, get it replaced.

so basically go for the 100k major servicE?
how much does hanny's charge?
-
not qutie 100k service
just change all the serviceable items
and that's its, well with the seals as well.
you should be fine.
