5zigen spec A is pretty quiet.
It has a nice note though. The burnt titanium tip looks good as well

    how much??

Even if i change the axleback part , how would it affect my insurance?

My uncle's dc2r had its NRMA nsurance voided because during a claim, they found that he had cf, spoon calipers, and mugen twin loop exhaust

Well for the full exhaust its about $1600-1700 I believe.

I can't see changing your exhaust affecting your insurance, maybe your premiums but its highly unlikely that it will void your claim.

What was CF on your uncles dc2r? The bonnet? CF Bonnets aren't covered by any major insurer I'm aware of (please tell me if there is someone as I'd like to look into it myself hehe). They are viewed as a safety risk as they don't crumple the same as stock bonnets.

I was told by Just Cars Insurance that in the event of an accident with a carbon fibre bonnet if I was covered by them the bonnet would not be replaced but everything else would be.

For Example: Front end smash that required new headlights and front bar and bonnet. Everything would be covered except the bonnet.

I'd imagine though as with any insurance claim it would be viewed on a case by case basis and they'd try and stooge you anyway they could

    i got the 5zigen a spec installed.

I found it was pretty loud as I wanted a relatively quiet exhaust but i believe it's the best bang for buck.

yep and whole system is around that price

vtec NA th, if you found the A-Spec loud, you'd hate the Spoon N1 or BC Spec 3 or 4 lol

With regards to the needs of the tread originator,

I prefer the less restrictive efficient muffler but I do not
have the need to broadcast to everyone I'm coming their
    way 200 metres away.

Where do I go from here ? Back to stock muffler ? #$%^&!

Would free flowing offset sports muffler(mouthful here)
be a consideration? or defeat the primary reason for
    an 'efficient' muffler?

I like a quiet 'sleeper', or there's no such thing as a
quiet free flow muffler but a compromise.

I hope someone could provide some knowledge on this.

    Thanks.

if driving manual, opt for HKS... sound nicer.. but low end will suffer..

My friend is using 5zigen header and 5zigen Pro-racer Spec A. Compare to my GF's Jazz, it feels a lot better. Just a bit noisy compare to stock. He got a good deal from Maxhondapower (Edw-R). Not sure if you can. LoL

If anyone wants a Spoon N1 Catback, PM me lolz
