    Exclamation Bridgestone Adrenalin Potenza RE001

Anyone using these tyres? Any feedback?
Apparently they are the latest alternative to the OEM DC5R tyre.
    Looking forward to your comments.........

These replaced the apparently highly praised S03 and (something else) tyres.

i wonder how they rate against yokohama S Drives..

Excellent tyres, my mate has a set on his car and loves them. I'll be trying a set on my own next.

i got a quote for $198/tyre fitted and balanced (205/55R16).
sounds like the general consensus so far is positive.

For me it's either RE001 or S Drives, I have Yokohama ES100 (replaced by S Drives) and love em but wanna try Bridgestone equivalent or thereabouts. Plus the RE001 is about $25-$30 cheaper per tyre, so I'll be taking advantage of the aggressive marketing from Bridgestone.

I've got them installed on my swift (195/55X15)
They are surprisingly grippy, reasonably quiet, just a swooshing sound on the road. When pressed, they allow a good deal of throttle adjustability and instill great confidence in spirited driving.

We've got the s drives on our Dc2r and re001 on my EGSi.

No comparision in terms of grip, was expecting a lot more from Yokohama's latest offering. The S drive is quieter though, and very well made ( on our dc2r with oe 15" enkeis the balance weights were no more than 15g, on one wheel no weight was nec ). But it looks and feel like nothing more than a bridgestone GIII with a harder compound and without the GIII's pattern noise. We were expecting a lot more than this from Yokohama's latest high performance offering.

    Hey,
I've got these tyres in 195/50R15's and have no complaints with them. I've taken them to the track too and they held up pretty well.
Having said that they are the first real performance tyres I've purchased so I can't compare to anything else.
