Cheers for that. Admittedly it was like 12:30am or something when I posted and I just couldn't be bothered getting out of bed to check anything. I'll do it this arvo.
I took a look and I'm quite sure it's the 93kw SOHC VTEC. The moron who recently sold the car to me put some stickers on the rear windscreen reading "DOHC VTEC" and to be honest I just believed it...I would have bought the car regardless of being DOHC or SOHC anyway...was in great knick, sensational mags, very straight/clean etc..
How can I check what model engine/series of Civic I have? I've been doing some research and I think I have either the D16Z6 (Civic EX) which is the SOHC VTEC, but then some of the other criteria leads towards the D16A8 DOHC VTEC (88-95 Civic - Australia). I know my chassis model is EH9 but I'm still learning about the car in general.
Now I can't help but wonder what it'd be like if I did something silly and dropped in a B16A at some point down the track <lol>

At uni right now, trying to do a very dry assignment...I can check later this arvo, but I know it's a VTEC. It has "VTEC" on the engine and you can feel it around 5500-6800, that's why I was leaning towards D16Z6 SOHC VTEC, so I'm sure it's a Civic EX (EH9 chassis). I'm just hopeless with it atm <lol>
Pic attached, was taken with my mobile phone but I think it came out alright.
I still haven't bloody managed to figure out what series the actual car is. The chassis is EH9 and I have a moon roof etc, so I thought it was an EX, but I'm pretty sure I don't have ABS so I dunno...How the frick can I figure that part out?
Many thanks again mate
EDIT: Just did some more research and I'm quite sure it's the D16Y1 SOHC VTEC (96KW).
